Hybrid Landfill Leachate Treatment Model
The main goal of the project is to promote research and the development of advanced know-how in the processes, design, techniques and tools for the treatment of highly polluting liquid waste streams such as leachates produced by landfills, combining in a flexible and efficient way various conventional activated sludge technologies (CAS or SBR), with cutting-edge technologies such as ultrafiltration and AOPs.
